There are so many fun ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day with children. Baking cookies, making crafts, and reading books together are a simple and easy way to celebrate this fun day. For children, Valentine’s Day is all about expressing love to friends and family. The books that I’m sharing with you today are not all Valentine’s themed books, but they are perfect for expressing love, friendship, and thankfulness for family and friends.
“Elmo Loves You” written by Sarah Albee is perfect for children ages 3-8. This book has been a sweet Valentine’s read in our home for many years.

“Guess How Much I Love You” written by Sam McBratney

“The Invisible String” written by Patrice Karst is another favorite story for us to read at home. Little children need to sometimes be reminded that we love them when we are close by or far away at work or wherever we may go.
