About

I’m Carmen. Welcome to The Mommy 365! I’m so happy you’re here. This is my creative space where I share ideas and solutions that help me as a wife, mom, and woman. I’m an unashamed believer in Jesus, and I love God.

Life is beautiful and hard at times, but God has given me gifts that I use to inspire and encourage women through the beautiful and difficult seasons of life. If you’ve been around for a while, you’ve probably noticed that my content has slowly shifted in a new direction. That’s completely intentional. As my children have grown, so has this blog. While mom life will always be a part of this blog, I’m no longer in the season of navigating the everyday challenges and happiness of raising little ones. Instead, I’m embracing a newfound joy of watching my children become more independent, discovering who God created them to be, and finding their own paths in life.

My life as a mom is changing, and so are things that I enjoy and believe. Because of that, you’ll begin to see my website and blog naturally drift toward more lifestyle content that reflects the season of life that I’m enjoying right now. This means that my content here may look a little different from this year forward. Along with the occasional glimpse into motherhood, I hope to continue sharing more lifestyle and inspirational content.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my husband and children.

A Little Bit More About Me

In 2016, I resigned from my career to focus more on my family. As a stay-at-home mom, I spent my time helping my husband build his business, volunteering at my son’s school, and homeschooling my daughter. During that season of life, I also began blogging. I shared posts about faith, natural hair products, and learning resources for moms navigating the preschool years while also teaching their little ones at home. This blog, formerly named “Life With Carmen,” became a meaningful creative outlet for me.

After being exclusively at home with my children for a little over 7 years, I resumed my career in early childhood education as a trainer. Early childhood education is more than just my profession; it has been my passion for over 20 years. In 2026, God blessed me with an opportunity to pivot into a new branch of my career as an early childhood professional. I’m now working in mental health and enjoying every aspect of it. This career change has brought me a new purpose. Balancing my professional and family life has given me an even greater appreciation for finding joy in everyday moments.

My husband of 20 years and our two children, ages 16 and 10, enjoy traveling in our RV, exploring new places, and discovering local restaurants along the way. These adventures often help me reset mentally and emotionally while renewing my spirit.

In this new season of my blog, I look forward to sharing more weekly encouragement and inspirational posts designed to uplift, encourage, and inspire others. I hope you’ll enjoy everything that’s still to come right here on The Mommy 365!
