I do not enjoy drinking water, but I know that it works wonders for my health. I truly only drink it consistently to heal my acne prone skin, to fuel my workouts, to keep my vagina healthy, and to prevent constipation. I’m just keeping it 100% with you. Because I struggle with getting my 64 ounces in during the day I had to come up with some other alternatives to distract my mind from the awful taste of water. If you struggle like I do maybe these solutions will help you out as well.

Set Your Alarm
Considering that I do not enjoy drinking water it’s especially easy for me to forget to drink it throughout the day. I enjoy starting my morning off with a glass of lemon water, but I’ve found that I rarely get thirsty during the day.
Setting an alarm on my phone with the special label “Drink Up Now” reminds me to reach for a glass of water.
Use A Water App
Sometimes I like to use my Lose It App to count my macros and calories during the day. The water option also helps me to remember how many ounces I’ve consumed to keep me on track.
The water tracking option on this app is a premium user feature and will cost you $3.33 each month.
Use An Amazing Cup or Bottle
Two very weird things that I enjoy having are lunch totes and beverage cups. I will not explain my obsession with lunch totes, but I know for a fact that a great beverage cup is a perfect way for anyone to stay consistent with drinking water. They make me feel productive and I drink more during my day.
My two favorite cups that I rotate on a daily basis just for plain water is my Ozark trail tumbler and my huge water tumbler. Here are a few of my other favorite cups and brands that I’ve used or purchased for others.
Try Infused Water
Infused water bottles help the bland taste of water and makes it a little more enjoyable. I enjoy adding lemon to my water, but when I want to try different fruits I like to use my Primula Infuser .
I enjoy adding strawberries, orange slices, kiwi, and watermelon to my infuser bottle. Cucumber, grapes, lime and some spices also make water taste much more flavorful. Whatever you decide to add to your bottle or cup be sure to clean it daily to ensure that mold does not form inside of the infuser area of your bottle.
It’s also important to make sure that you are drinking filtered water from a safe bottle or cup that is BPA free. My motto is drink as much as you use the bathroom and definitely when you feel thirsty. If you want an accurate amount of ounces of water for your daily intake their is a method for calculating your specific body needs. According to GoodHouseKeeping.com you can calculate the appropriate amount of ounces by following this method:
Take your weight (in pounds) and divide that by 2.2.
Multiply that number depending on your age: If you’re younger than 30, multiply by 40. If you’re between 30-55, multiply by 35. If you’re older than 55, multiply by 30.
Divide that sum by 28.3.
Your total is how many ounces of water you should drink each day. Divide that number by 8 to see your result in cups.

Thank you for sharing your tips on how to drink more water! I have to admit that I pretty much only like drinking water, I don’t like sparkling drinks or soda. It does make it easier to drink enough water, haha but I still forget to drink every now and then. Keeping a water bottle everywhere I go helped me a lot. 🙂

Yes, I have to keep a bottle by my side or else it’s all downhill for the day. 😊 Thanks for reading!
