I Tried Carol’s Daughter “Wash Day Delight” Here Are My Thoughts

Carol’s Daughter has been in the beauty industry for quite some time now. I’ve had some hits and misses with a few of the products. Lisa Price, the owner of the product line has done a great job of creating quality, but affordable products for everyone.

One of my sure hits from the brand is the Mimosa Hair Honey Shine Pomade that I recommended in my natural hair oil essentials.

The “Wash Day Delight” shampoo is a Micellar water shampoo designed to remove product build-up in addition to keeping your curls and coils moisturized. I purchased mine from Target.

I chose this shampoo for two reasons. First, I wanted to add a clarifying shampoo into my regimen. Secondly, I wanted it to be paraben and sulfate free.

It’s Wash Day! 💇🏾‍♀️

Here are some of the pros and cons of the “Wash Day Delight” shampoo.

I used this shampoo on two separate wash days in order for me to give you my fair and honest review. Although, I don’t think that anyone should ever have to do that for any product.

You all don’t know how badly I wanted to love this product, but it tangled my hair and left it feeling like straw. It never lathered the way that it does in their promotional videos and unfortunately, I used practically half of the bottle.

Maybe my type 4 hair was too much for this product. Honestly, I think it will be a great shampoo for someone with type 3 fine curls. I will not purchase it again.

I hope this review is helpful to you. Thanks for reading!
