Natural and Affordable Anti-Aging Products

These products are not brand sponsored or affiliate links. I love sharing what works for me with you all. When it comes to my daily beauty routine, I like to keep things simple and the ingredients in each product as close to nature as possible. I was happy when I found these two products. I’ve been using them both for a while now and they are definitely working for me.

To prevent dark circles and dry skin from my aging eyes, I’ve been using the Alaffia Everyday Coconut Nighttime Replenishing Eye CreamReplenishing Eye Cream

It works great! It was created for all skin types and it isn’t greasy. The smell is pleasant and it doesn’t clog my pores. I’ve used eye creams in the past and some of them caused small pimples to form around my eyes. If your eye cream is causing this same issue for you, it’s comedogenic(pore-clogging). I purchased mine at a local health and wellness store in my city, but it can also be purchased on Amazon. I paid $9.99 for it, and a portion of the proceeds benefit various poverty prevention projects in Togo. Some of those projects are maternal health, educational supplies, and reforestation efforts. All natural ingredients and beauty for a great cause sound great to me!

I have extremely oily skin that is prone to breakouts and misbehaves at the most inappropriate times. Over the last few years, my dermatologist has become very popular and in high demand in our state. It’s almost impossible to sometimes get an appointment. I’m happy that I have found a microdermabrasion product that I can now use at home to remove the dead skin and dark scars from my face. I found the Botanics Radiant Youth Refining Microdermabrasion Polish at Ulta for about $13.00. Botanics Microdermabrasion Polish

This refining polish is very creamy and you can definitely feel the grit while exfoliating. I immediately saw a brighter complexion with my problem skin after the first week of use. Because of my severe hyperpigmentation from old acne scars, it will take several more uses before the dark spots are totally gone. However, I’m happy with the process right now. I love that this product is free of Parabens. I try my best to avoid them in my foods and personal care items.

Here is a recent and unfiltered picture of my skin and eyes.

Taking better care of my skin with good products, good food, and water has become a part of my daily self-care routine. Hopefully, my mom’s good genes will rub off on me and I can age just as gracefully and beautifully as she is doing.
