Oh my gosh!!! Love this post!!! 🙌
Thank you so much! I appreciate you taking the time to read. ❤
My mum has also decided to dedicate her life to be a stay at home mother to look after us, her kids when we were young, and I definitely see how tired she was doing everything for her family at home. It ain’t easy at all. Thanks for sharing your experience. Totally relatable.
Since I run two home based businesses, I always get asked if I’m ever bored…and the answer is heck no!
Annoying comments like that drive me crazy! Whether you’re staying at home or working outside the home, kudos to all! It’s tough and no one needs judgement from other people.
Great article. One of my friends is a stay at home to twins and she is exhausted at the end of the day! It’s still work and it’s hard work at that!
Yes! It’s annoying and mean spirited.
I like your response to them.
Thanks for reading!
I’m sure she is exhausted, but whether you work inside your home or outside of your home no one what’s to be constantly asked or told of how exhausted they must be.
Why anyone cares how someone else parents (unless they see abuse or neglect obviously) is beyond me. And even if someone has an opinion on stay at home vs. working moms, they should keep it to themselves. Guaranteed that parent has already considered all the angles before making that decision.
It’s beyond me as well, but there are a ton of people that make it their business to comment negatively purposefully.
My mum was a stay-at-home mum. I saw how hard it was and decided to be a working mum. I tell you something, Stay at home mum and a Working mum are equally the same job.
Absolutely Sonia!
totally get it.. while i did work for two decades in a regular job and enjoyed my job, i was also totally happy when i was home during my maternity leave . and now i am home for the past five years taking up freelancing jobs that give me flexibility and the freedom to spend time with family…so the best of both for me now 🙂
And different things work for different people.. so to each one their own way of doing things is my thinking always
Yes! I agree! I try to support people in what is best for their own lives.
