Kid-Friendly Multivitamins That My Kids Take, Liked, and Hated

We all need a multivitamin in our daily health routine and kids are not exempt. While many labels will suggest that the minimum age is 4 there are a few brands that I was able to give to my children at age 3 with approval from their pediatrician.

My children are picky eaters. Daily supplements like multivitamins help them to continue to grow, develop, and retain the proper nourishment that their bodies need.

Here are a few kid-friendly multivitamins that we use daily, once used and liked, and hated and will never use again.

Multivitamins

Lil Critters – The kids take these daily.

Up & Up Kids Multivitamin Gummies – good taste, size, and price

Spring Valley Organic Kids Multivitamins – great taste, slightly pricier than other brands, but rarely in stock with local stores

Equate Children’s Multivitamins – good taste, great price, but rarely in stock with local stores

Elderberry Immunity Supplements

Equate Children’s Black Elderberry – The kids take these daily.

Spring Valley Kid’s Elderberry Gummies – great taste, slightly pricier than other brands, rarely in stock with local stores

Sambucol Immunity Support – This is always our second choice when the Equate are unavailable.

Nature’s Way Sambucus Elderberry Gummies – great taste, slightly pricier than other brands, also includes vitamin c and zinc

Probiotic Supplements

Spring Valley Kids Probiotic and Prebiotic – The kids take these daily. These are our favorite, but they are rarely in stock in local stores.

Digestive Advantage Kids Probiotic Gummies – Our second favorite after the Spring Valley brand.

Equate Probiotic Gummies – The kids and I hated the taste and texture of these gummies.

Culterelle Kids Daily Probiotic – okay taste and texture, but slightly pricier than other brands

Be sure to share any daily supplements that your child takes with your pediatrician.
