Sweets and Treats from A to Z : An Alphabet Book for Kids

When my children were much younger and learning their alphabets I created a lot of resources and crafts that helped them to identify letters and the sounds that each one makes. Books were also a great way to help in our learning with “Chicka, Chicka Boom Boom” being one of our favorites that we enjoyed reading all the time.

Although I am no longer in the classroom as a teacher I still enjoy teaching my children at home and creating free learning resources for parents to use at home and for teachers to supplement in their classrooms. The read aloud book that I’m sharing with you today is a great resource to help early learners recognize letters and learn new vocabulary.

  1. Wow that’s a very artistic way to help kids learn their alphabet. I allow ny boy as well to learn via YouTube and we normally watch the Number blocks in YouTube to enhance his Math skills.

  2. I used to play Super Simple Songs a lot for my babies on youtube. Then when they got a little older they both loved Super Why which was educational. I don’t know if that show is still on.

  3. I also played Super Simple Songs for my babies. I’m not sure if they are still making new episodes of Super Why, but we still watch the reruns. It’s a great show!
